Project 1: Mini-Brief 5
For our last brief we learnt how to use Photoshop's skillful actions with automation features and its Typesetting. We were asked to bring in 15 of our images we took of one specific object (close-up, wide angle and mid shot) I chose a chair, for the last brief we weren't provided with images we had to strictly use our own images. We learnt how to batch process our images to edit all our images at once, we then had to construct a grid-based image made up of our 12 or 9 images, by doing this we were shown how to use rulers and guides in Photoshop, and were also shown how to construct a proper contact sheet in Adobe Bridge.
We were asked to submit 3 Files. One file showing a contact sheet of all our images before they were edited, Second file being a Photoshop file showing our constructed grid of 9 images, it had to demonstrate all our use of recorded actions and typesetting. And our third file being another contact sheet showing our images after they have been edited.
I have provided the example of my grid that I designed below. Enjoy
